The Rotary Club of Bwebajja hosted a memorable evening on October 17, 2024, as District Governor Agnes Mungati Batengas made her official visit. The celebration kicked off with a symbolic tree-planting ceremony, commemorating Rotary International’s 100th anniversary.
The club’s enthusiasm was further ignited by the induction of 10 new members, bringing fresh perspectives and energy to the group.
Governor Agnes praised the club’s exceptional work in fostering connections between young and old and encouraged us to continue making a lasting impact on the community through impactful projects. She also urged the club to aim for a Global Grant annually and to expand Rotary’s reach by supporting the formation of new clubs.
With a strong membership of 95, the Rotary Club of Bwebajja exemplifies the spirit of service and collaboration. The evening’s event was a testament to the power of unity and dedication and a celebration of the club’s continued success.
